Hello, my name is Holly Downes and I'm a London-based Fashion and Beauty journalist currently working for Heat, Closer, Bella, Take a Break, and that’s life! magazines. My work spans fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, creating engaging content for both print and digital platforms.

Prior to this, I spent two years working as a financial journalist. I hold a BA degree in English Literature and Philosophy from Durham University, and I’m NCTJ-qualified with a Gold Standard Diploma in Magazine Journalism.

Alongside my work, I run weekly 'what you should read this week' episodes on TikTok, write two Substack newsletters, and teach yoga.
