Hello, my name is Holly Downes and I'm a London-based Fashion and Beauty writer currently working for Heat, Closer, Bella, Take a Break, and that’s life! magazines. My work spans fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, where I create engaging content for print and digital. 

Prior to this, I spent under two years working as a financial journalist. I hold a BA degree in English Literature and Philosophy from Durham University, and I’m NCTJ-qualified with a Gold Standard Diploma in Magazine Journalism.

Alongside my work, I create weekly 'what you should read this week' videos on TikTok, write two Substack newsletters, and am a qualified yoga teacher.
